This comes under the ‘I didn’t know we needed that’ heading, I ran across this while surfing online this week.
Link to it here
And it’s only $1139! Call now! Operators are standing by!
But wait, it holds 5 pounds?
And pulls 660watts to stay up in the air?

I was surfing the BTARS site tonight and ran across this article about the Navy radios we have in our JLFSHS, the RBB and RBC models. It also talks about the matching transmitter.

Let me know if you’d like to operate them sometime. Our RBB model is dead but the RBC works very well! It tunes 4 to 27 MHz.
