Portable Radio Operations – Stuart Thomas KB1HQS

Stuart Thomas, KB1HQS is a portable radio operator enthusiast and enjoys operating outside.
In 2016, he was the top National Parks on the Air Activator with over 500 activation’s. He also participates in programs such as Summits on the Air, Castles on the Air, and Parks on the Air, among others. He is the author of the book, “Portable Operating for Amateur Radio”  and has several QST magazine articles on portable operating.
